DTS Drum Tuning System
“Sure, I can tune drums (I literally wrote the book on the subject), but the DTS one touch drum tuning system enables me to do it so much faster and easier. I now enjoy tuning my drums, as well as experimenting with different tuning ranges with just a few turns of the T-handle. I tune the batter heads for the pitch/feel I like and then (here’s the cool part) I “sweep” through the resonant head tensions to find the desired amount of sustain I’m looking for. All of this can be done without even removing the drum from its mount on the kit. In the studio, I can now retune my drums easily and quickly for different songs. Live, I can make quick tuning adjustments to accommodate the venue I’m playing. To sum this product up in two words, I would have to say ‘Brilliantly simple’”.
